If you choose to give or sell your race bib to another runner without going through the official TBR transfer process, you are enabling a “race bandit.” Race bandits are individuals who participate under someone else’s name and are not covered by race insurance, which poses a serious risk to the event and its organizers. Any runner found using a bib registered under a different name on race day will be disqualified and excluded from the official results. Additionally, both the original bib owner and the unauthorized runner will be disqualified and banned from all future TBR events.
